Ms. Venetta Jonell Williams

Rev. 21:4 The life of Venetta Jonell Williams began with her birth on May 31, 1979, in Nash County, North Carolina to her parents, Larry Williams and Sarah Louise Arnold Williams. She was one of two children born in the family. She was raised surrounded by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Venetta graduated from Southeast Halifax High School in 1997, and later continued her education at Edgecombe Community College and Nash Community College to obtain her Associates degree in nursing as a LPN. Venetta loved taking care of her patients, cooking, and spending quality time with her family. Venetta was a loving mother to six children with whom she shared many happy and precious moments. Later her four grandchildren were an additional source of joy and pride in her life. She will be missed by all who knew her. To know Venetta was to love her. Venetta is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Lillie Williams and Jesse, Sr. and Addie Arnold. Venetta departed this life on February 4, 2020, at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill North Carolina. Those left to cherish her memory include her parents:Lary and Sarah Williams; two sons: Gregory Tillery, Jr. and Trenton Nicholson, Jr of Scotland Neck, North Carolina; four daughters, Jo’Mya Tillery of Raleigh, North Carolina; Jessica Tillery of Tarboro, North Carolina; Lillie Tillery of Scotland Neck, North Carolina; and Irish Tillery of Scotland Neck, North Carolina; her sister: Pamela L. Williams of Charlotte, North Carolina; a special “brother/cousin” Ricardo Davis Arnold, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
