Mr. Milton Arnold Sr.

March 8, 1954 - January 17, 2022

was born March 8, 1954 in Halifax County, North Carolina to the late Jesse Arnold, Sr., and Addie Gertrude Thomas. He completed the twelfth grade of high school. Milton Arnold, Sr., fell asleep in death on January 17, 2022. Milton Arnold, Sr., was raised in Scotland Neck, North Carolina. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, football and bowling, but most importantly, being with his family and friends. Milton dedicated his life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in March, 1969. He faithfully attended his weekly meetings and participated in the “door to door” ministry (Matthew 24:14;28:19). He loved life, his family and spiritual brothers and sisters. Milton was married to Necie May Walton of Bertie County, North Carolina on May 18, 1974 (47 years). To this union two children were born, Milton Arnold, Jr. and Rebecca La’Belle Arnold. He is survived by his wife , Necie Arnold of the home; One Son: Milton (Cynthia) Arnold, Jr.; One Daughter: Rebecca Arnold Neville of Rocky Mount, NC; Four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; Four brothers: Donnie (Juanita) Arnold, Sr., of Tarboro, NC; Columbus (Evelyn) Arnold of Aulander, NC; Four sisters: Sarah (Larry) Williams Mauva (Jesse) Jones of Scotland Neck, NC; Shearin (Frank) Hassell of Jacksonville, NC; Joann Bond of Windsor, NC’; a special “Brother” and friend, Randall (Margaret) McKinney of Scotland Neck, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends. Milton was predeceased by one brother: James Arnold, Sr.
