Blair Bullock III

Blair Bullock III, was born February 8, 1952 in Edgecombe County. He was called from labor to reward on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Nash General Hospital. He is preceded in death by parents, Mr. Blair Bullock, Jr. and Mrs. Sue Whitakers Bullock; sister, Phyllis Bullock Dickens, and brother, Tracey Bernard Bullock. Blair was educated in Edgecombe County Public Schools. On September 15, 2012 he was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was employed at Barcalounger of Rocky Mount for over 30 years and then he retired. He then started working for Meadowbrook Meat Company of Rocky Mount as a truck driver where he retired permanently. Loving memories will always remain in the hearts of his family and friends. His most precious memories will be cherished by: his loving wife of 40 years, Mrs. Helen Harris Bullock; sons: Blair Bullock IV of the home, Carlos (Colette) Bullock of Windsor, New York, and Tracy (Michelle) Drewery of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; five grandchildren: Caleb and Evan Bullock of Windsor, New York, Tracie, Tariq, and Myah Drewery of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; two brothers: Richard Bullock and Jimmie Bullock of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; six sisters: Agnes Copeland, Sue (Roscoe) Whitehead, Daisy (Columbus) Battle, and Lillie Parker, all of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Thresia (Dwayne) Crandell of Greenville, North Carolina, and Wanda “Cookie” Soloman of Washington, DC; two brothers in law: Milton Harris of Rocky Mount, North Carolina and Warren (Debra) Richardson of Fairfield, Ohio; three sisters in law: Patricia Harris (Joe Thomas), Janet Harris both of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and Alice Harris of Dayton, Ohio; two nephews: Orlando Bullock of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and Marco Bullock of Greenville, North Carolina; six nieces: Tammy Bullock Arthur of Knightdale, North Carolina, Johnese Harris of Silver Springs, Maryland, Jamina (Edward) Key of Greenville, North Carolina, Desiree Bullock, Deidre Bullock, and Nakayah Gray all of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; one great nephew, Preston Williams of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; two great nieces: Camille and Callie Williams both of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; and two very special aunts: Lougenia Bullock and Mary Louise Bullock both of Tarboro, North Carolina; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
